Barracuda Junior Thinning Shears, 7.0" 42 Teeth
These scissors form the basis of beginner groomer kits, but that doesn't make them any worse. Like many other scissors that come to us from China, they are made of inexpensive, but still quite strong and durable 9CR 18 material. This makes them no worse than 90% of the rest of the goods from Asia.
The lower price is not due to the low quality of the product, but to the large serial order for this model. In addition, I personally really wanted to see inexpensive filleting knives appear on the market, so that quality would become available to absolutely everyone.
The 42-tooth version of these shears is absolutely universal. The width of the gaps between the teeth is approximately equal to the width of the tooth itself, which allows them to penetrate thick wool well and remove quite a lot at the same time. The shears do not have the same super smooth stroke as the 56-tooth version, because the smoothness directly depends on the number of teeth, but you can’t call them uncomfortable either.
Verdiet. The scissors are 100% worth their money and can be used by groomers of any class when working with dogs with any type of coat.
