Geib Buttercut Yoshi Offset 8.0" and 8.5" Contour Grooming Scissors
As of now (April 2020) - the latest Geib Buttercut shears were first introduced at a modest presentation at the Shanghai Pet fair Expo. They were to be presented to a wider range of European buyers at Interzoo in Nuremberg in 2020, but the exhibition was cancelled due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Apparently, Edward was inspired by the idea of special scissors at Utsumi, because they were the first to implement lightweight scissors, but with wide flat blades.
The scissors are made of genuine Japanese steel, are very light in weight and very smooth in movement. You can cut all day long and your hand will not get tired, compared to classic scissors. They can work ONLY IN GRINDING MODE , they are designed only for final polishing and, due to their light weight, their cutting force is very low.
The angle of curvature of these curved grooming scissors is closer to the classic one.
Attention , this version of the scissors has a semi-offset handle, there is also a version with a straight handle.
