Universal, classic shankers with an average tooth width and an average distance between the teeth. Based on the configuration, it is better to use on. By weight, wool works less successfully, inferior to shank filers with large gaps between the teeth.
7 inches used to seem like a short size, but now it is becoming more and more relevant. Groomers have long understood that a short blade gives much more cutting power than scissors closer to 8 inches. The difference from the regular ESP version is that they use excellent Japanese AUS-10 steel, which is more durable than Chinese 9CR18.
In terms of steel grade, they are not inferior to most more expensive models, and the semi-convex sharpening is not particularly smooth, but it is durable.
A good inexpensive choice for a groomer with any experience.
