Geib Buttercut Brutus 9.0" finishing shears, 26 teeth
These scissors are, in principle, the longest shankers from Buttercut, with the exception of the "twin brother" of these scissors - Monster.
A new development from Edward Gabe went on sale in 2017. Maestro has long been concerned about the misuse of finishing scissors, groomers tried to cut masses of wool with them and did not get the desired results, and manufacturers justified this behavior of the scissors by saying that they were created for a finishing light perforated cut for show grooming on a perfectly combed and clean coat.
Buttercut doesn't make a direct claim - we made shears for mass of wool, but nevertheless, they are able to handle more volume than classic shears.
They differ from their "twin" - Monster shankers in that they contain the best material - VG10
