Geib Buttercut Monster 8.0" finishing shears, 16 teeth
A new development from Edward Gabe went on sale in 2017. Maestro has long been concerned about the misuse of finishing scissors, groomers have tried to use them to prevent such behavior of the scissors because they were created for a finishing light perforated cut for exhibition grooming of perfectly combed and clean trimmed wool.
This 16-tooth version has more mass and wider teeth, which gives it more cutting power. Buttercut doesn't say it's made for mass, but it can still successfully get into the fur and cut almost anything you want. Monster also has a 22-tooth version, and they resemble classic finishing shears.
