Barracuda Alpha 7.5" 56-tooth thinning shears
The longest version of thinning shears from Alfa.
Personally, I think 7.5" is too much for any wool thinning tasks, but periodically there is a demand for such a length of scissors. The scissors are universal with an average tooth size , relative to the length of the blade.
The classic, V-shaped tooth is an ideal solution for filleting knives, as the U-shaped tooth has a lower cutting coefficient, and the W-shaped (aggressive) tooth is very difficult to sharpen.
The material is VG10 cobalt steel from Japan, the best on the market in any price range. The scissors are moderately heavy, with a massive little finger booster, offset handle, and semi-convex sharpening.
They "lie" very confidently in the hand and do not require frequent sharpening. Simply a masterpiece for this price, a perfect balance of price and quality.
