Thinning scissors Barracuda Alpha 7.5" 56 teeth
Maximum in length, version of thinning scissors from Alpha. Personally, I think 7.5" is way too long for any wool thinning task, but there is occasional demand for this length of scissors. The scissors are general purpose with a medium tooth size relative to blade length. The classic V-shaped tooth is an ideal solution for thinning scissors, since the U-shaped tooth has a lower shear coefficient, and the W-shaped (aggressive) one is very difficult to sharpen.
The VG10 material is cobalt steel from Japan, the best available on the market in any price range. Scissors are moderately heavy, with a massive amplifier for the little finger, offset handle and semi-convex sharpening. Very confident "placed" in the hand and do not require frequent sharpening.
Just a masterpiece for this price, the perfect balance of price and quality.
