Geib Buttercut Brutus Finishing Scissors 8.0 ", 16 teeth
A new development from Edward Gabe went on sale in 2017. Maestro has long been worried about the misuse of finishing scissors, groomers tried to cut wool with them and did not get the desired results, and manufacturers justified such behavior of the scissors in that they were created for the finishing light perforated cut for show grooming for perfectly combed and clean trimmed wool.
This 16-tooth version has a higher weight and wider teeth for greater shearing force. Buttercut does not directly state - we made scissors for the mass of wool, but nevertheless, they can successfully climb into wool and cut almost anything you want. Brutus also has a 22-tooth version of the scissors that resemble the classic finishing scissors.
