Geib Buttercut Brutus 8.0" finishing shears, 22 teeth
A new development from Edward Gabe went on sale in 2017. Maestro has long been concerned about the misuse of finishing scissors, groomers have tried to use them to avoid such behavior of the scissors because they were created for a finishing light perforated cut for show grooming of perfectly combed and clean trimmed wool.
Buttercut doesn't say it outright - we made shears for mass of wool, but nevertheless, they are able to handle more volume than classic shank shears. Brutus also has a 16-tooth version of the shears, they have even more noticeable cutting power due to the width of the individual tooth.
They differ from their "twin" - Monster shankers in that they contain the best material - VG10
