Geib Buttercut Brutus Finishing Scissors 8.0 ", 22 teeth
A new development from Edward Gabe went on sale in 2017. Maestro has long been worried about the misuse of finishing scissors, groomers tried to cut wool with them and did not get the desired results, and the manufacturers justified such behavior of the scissors in that they were created for the finishing light perforated cut for show grooming for perfectly combed and clean trimmed wool.
Buttercut does not directly state - we made shears for the mass of wool, but nevertheless, they are able to cope with a larger volume than the classic chanker scissors. Also in Brutus there is a 16-tooth version of the scissors, they have an even more noticeable shearing force due to the width of the individual tooth.
Different from the "twin" Shankers Monster in that they contain the best material - VG10
